KIDS in Muswellbrook

Kids Intervention & Development Services (KIDS)

The KIDS program supports children aged 5–12 years through a coordinated approach that combines school-based and community support. Our goal is to help children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally by addressing their individual needs and building on their strengths.

Program Objectives

Our support aims to:

  • Strengthen student wellbeing and sense of belonging by fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment at school and in the community
  • Build connections between children, their peers, families, and schools to create a strong support network
  • Promote resilience and self-determination, helping children develop the skills to make
choices, solve problems, and manage challenges confidently
  • Support children in navigating life’s challenges, including social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties, so they can succeed both academically and personally

We work closely with parents, carers, and schools to ensure that each child receives consistent support across home, school, and community settings. By fostering collaboration and early intervention, KIDS aims to empower children to reach their full potential.

Service Area

  • Children attending schools within the Muswellbrook LGA
