Primary focus on assisting parents and families with children aged 0 – 8 years, in a culturally appropriate way to enhance parents’ skills to improve educational, social and health outcomes for their children. Muswellbrook Neighbourhood Service
MNS is here to support individuals and community groups across the Muswellbrook Local Government Area, including Muswellbrook, Denman, Sandy Hollow, Wybong, and Baerami. We offer a range of services including information, referral, advocacy, and assistance with emergency relief (such as food and electricity vouchers), as well as needle and syringe exchange programs.
Our community room hire service is available for local initiatives and events, fostering collaboration and growth within the community. MNS is committed to providing a safe, supportive environment for everyone in need—helping to empower individuals and strengthen community connections.

Muswellbrook Out of School Hours Care - MOOSH
For children aged 5 - 12. Before and after school care 6.30am - 6.00pm, Vacation care 6.30am - 5.30pm.
Toy Box Children's mobile outreach service
Mobile outreach service providing structured playgroups for rural/ remote communities.
Toy Box is a not-for-profit organisation which provides parental support and educational programs for children aged 0-6 years in isolated areas of the Upper Hunter.
Upper Hunter Community and Youth Development Project
The Upper Hunter Community, Youth Development and Support Services provides essential support to youth services and providers across the communities of Singleton, Muswellbrook, Merriwa, Scone, Denman, Aberdeen, and Murrurundi.
Upper Hunter Family Support Service
Upper Hunter Family Support Service is a free service with a focus on strengthening and supporting families. We support parents and carers with children in their care up to the age of 17 years. Our workers will listen to your needs and provide your family with guidance, encouragement and strategies to make your own decisions.
